Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited content

You must not upload, prompt for, generate or share content that:

• depicts, sexualises or could be used to exploit children, or includes images of anyone under 18;
• is sexually explicit, pornographic or depicts nudity;
• shows a real, identifiable person without their consent, or places a real person in a context they have not agreed to;
• is a deepfake or impersonation of a real person, brand or organisation;
• promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred against people based on protected characteristics, or harasses or bullies anyone;
• infringes someone else’s copyright, trade marks, design rights, privacy or other rights, including garments, logos or photographs you are not entitled to use; or
• is otherwise unlawful, defamatory or fraudulent.

We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities.

Prohibited uses of outputs

You must not use Shotward or its outputs to:

• mislead consumers, for example by showing product features, colours, fit or materials that the real product does not have;
• create fake reviews, testimonials, endorsements or user-generated content presented as genuine;
• suggest that a synthetic casting model is a real person, customer or ambassador;
• spread disinformation, or create content intended to deceive people about real events or people;
• commit fraud, scams or other illegal activity.

Protecting the service

You must not:

• create multiple accounts, use disposable or temporary email addresses, or automate sign-ups to obtain additional trial credits;
• share accounts or sign-in links, or resell or sublicense access to the service without our written agreement;
• circumvent credit checks, rate limits, plan restrictions or other technical limits;
• scrape, bulk download or extract the casting, setting or movement libraries, or use them to train AI models or build a competing product;
• reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the service, except to the extent the law allows;
• upload malware, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without following our responsible disclosure process; or
• place an unreasonable load on the service or disrupt other users.

Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may remove or disable content, withhold or remove trial credits, suspend or close accounts, and report matters to the relevant authorities. We will act proportionately and, where appropriate and lawful, tell you what we have done and why.

Closing an account for a serious breach does not entitle you to a refund, except where the law requires one. If you believe we have made a mistake, contact support@shotward.com and we will review the decision.

Reporting misuse

To report content or behaviour that breaches this policy, email support@shotward.com with a description, any relevant links or project details, and your contact information. Reports are treated confidentially.
